F.A.T. company is on the market since 1967. We began the production of door viewers for interior doors.

The 1^st  door viewers have been done with 2 lenses with a 120° visual field.

At that time the interior doors constructor aim was getting more and more ambitious, for this reason the door accessories had to be suitable to the new aesthetic and functional form, (modifying the standard door-viewers production with 2 lenses). So that there is the need to meet such requirements with a new article, not only with the purpose to see beyond a door, but also to see better and in a suitable way. The constancy of pursuing an aim brings us to be 1^st  provider of 3 lenses door viewers, and with 4 lenses in order to large the visual field, with finishing in nickel, chrome, antique copper, polished and satin with antioxidant protections and at last gold.

The first result of our leadership happened in 1969 with the patent for the 3 lenses rectangular panoramic door viewer in agreement with the door style. In the meanwhile also the accessories were getting  an important detail; therefore there is the door viewers and personalised plates improvement.

In 1970 appeared the problem of the active and passive safety and the doors were  getting more and more important to protect one’s privacy; in this case  the first step was the introduction of a 3 lenses door viewer for security doors paying attention to the visual quality in terms of sharpness. In 1978 there has been the introduction of a 4 lenses door viewer to guarantee the maximum quality , in the same period it started of the 1^st  bullet-proof for banks and cells.

The coming of the ‘80 years and the technological development bring us to build  the first door viewer with metachrylate lenses in order to have always an advanced product at a lower price.

The innovations, which we have brought, such as  opportune row materials, suitable galvanic treatments and production control in the working phases, let  us  gain the confidence of  some customers, who know that the use of  qualified products lead to real profit.

The last realisation is the «FIRESTOP^®» door viewer for fire doors according to law patent REI: this is a specify product close to the standard in force according to fire security (fireproof doors, hotel doors, doors for cruise ship, etc).

For the above mentioned reasons F.A.T. company can be proud of being the worldwide leadership in this field, because it doesn’t exit any product like this one.

In 1972  F.A.T. company started a second production line: fixing screwing dowels. The aim was to give to the installers articles, which could give high quality warrant, (not only according to the used materials  but also to the building devices  suitable to assure a specified and optimum use to the different screwing dowels).

Moreover we have realised the first cut head screwing dowel, the result of this kind of our leadership is the last proposal steel TALON^® screwing dowel, its very useful to solve the installers problems.

As for the production of tubular structure joints line we have realised a joint able to joint tubes observing the axially also in the 90° connection. They were born for shelves  (interior decoration, stairs, greenhouses, roofing, traffic signs and advertising structures), they were available for every tube diameter in use (till 1”1/2).
